For example, we have designed a course to the requirements of a Lincolnshire Pupil Referral Unit, whereby their young people come to the reservoir every week in term-time and learn (a) powerboat handling and (b) boat and engine maintenance. In some cases, the students will achieve RYA powerboat qualifications, but if there is not enough time or if the young person is unable for any reason to complete the course, we issue our own certificate showing what they have achieved.
